Set in the heart of Kumartuli, Kolkata’s iconic hub of idol-making, the film follows Aaroti, a young photographer, whose path crosses that of a humble artisan crafting idols. Over shared cups of chai and Parle-G biscuits, a bond forms, bridging creative perspectives, tradition, and devotion.

From the sculptor’s workshop to Aaroti’s art college, and ending in the spiritual crescendo of Ashtami Shondhi, the narrative honours not just the grandeur of Durga Puja, but the silent artisans at its core. It is a tribute to compassion, kindness, and the timeless spirit of Maa Durga. Celebrating how simple gestures and shared moments lend festivals their soul.
